What is cost per meeting?
Cost per meeting is how much a developer spends on ads for each meeting that actually happens with a buyer: at the sales office, on site or by video call. You calculate it by dividing the ad budget by the number of meetings held. It's closer to the sale than cost per lead and compares channels more honestly.
Example
A project spends MX$300,000 and gets 40 meetings held. Cost per meeting = 300,000 ÷ 40 = MX$7,500. The numbers are illustrative, from the running example in the real estate sales funnel guide.
Common mistakes
- Counting scheduled meetings instead of meetings held.
- Comparing channels by cost per lead: a cheap inquiry can lead to an expensive meeting.
- Mixing meetings from different projects into one number.
